My first venture into working with glass was getting a hot head torch around 1999. I became fascinated with lampworking but it took me several years to get really serious about it. In June of 2007, I bought myself a Mid-Range/Minor torch. It took me six more months to buy the tanks to actually use it, but it has since started a whole new realm to my lampworking. Although I made many beads I enjoyed over the years with the hot head torch, what I have been able to accomplish since has been very exciting for me. With the addition of several new classes I have taken recently, I have moved into a whole new arena with my lampworking.
